DESCRIPTION
Initial summer internship role with opportunity for part-time employment pre-graduation and full-time employment post-graduation - dependent upon performance.

Perspective: our first intern excelled in the role and was subsequently hired after graduation. In his second year of full time employment his income level reached six figures. He continues to do quite well today.

We are interested in both those who are looking for a challenging, real world, small business experience through a paid internship, and those who may be interested in using the internship as a gateway to a potential full time position with our company post-graduation and dependent upon performance.

The Business Research Specialist is responsible for ensuring a ready pool of qualified candidates from targeted industry segments by providing research and sourcing support, candidate assessment and development, and competitive intelligence information. The primary focus of this position is the ongoing sourcing of talent and development of external market expertise in Food Processing and Consumer Products Industries. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting research and ongoing sourcing activities to identify and attract highly competitive candidates for key clients across the US, and within the industries we serve.
• Partnering with Recruiters to analyze client business and staffing needs and to anticipate future projects.
• Using passive and direct sourcing techniques such as database mining, Internet searching, participating in and networking within associations/organizations, cold calling, and conducting and gathering competitive research.
• Conducting thorough prescreening and assessment of candidates as well as follow up.
• Developing long-term relationships with potential candidates and updating the firm’s internal candidate database system in order to document and track data.
• Seeking new methods and innovative solutions to identify and attract the best candidates.
• Representing and differentiating Henson Partners to external candidates by effectively describing our business and approach to Executive Recruitment.
• Leading and/or participating in special recruiting projects designed to capitalize on business and industry changes.
