My name is Joan Nguyen, I am a business management major at Arizona State University. What makes me different from others is that I like adventure and risk taking activities. I always like competition because when I am competing with others I feel the need to thrive and do my best. Growing up with 4 other brothers and sisters has taught me to be more independent since I was the middle child and usually forgotten. My parents never pushed me to do my best in school but I knew that I needed to set my own goals and to push myself to work hard. When in high school I took every honor class available to me and tried my hardest which in the end earned me the provost scholarship into the W. P. Carey School of Business. Basically, I am a hard-working, self-motivating, 20-year old that strives for perfection at everything I do.
